ActionAid UK, one of Britain's largest charities have launched a viral campaign that allows their supporters to "digitally dress up" and make their own animation. It's part of ActionAid's Who pays? campaign, which is looking to put pressure on the government for tighter regulation of how UK supermarkets deal with producers in developing countries.
The viral, featuring comedians Bill Bailey and Katy Brand, asks people to upload a photo of themselves, and "dress up" as a banana, cashew nut or pear for a fight (in the style of their choice) with some supermarket trollies! They can then distribute the viral through various online channels.
FUSE designed and built the complete site, from character design and animation build through to the the clever stuff that allows the user to select variations in the viral as well as distribute it through their Facebook friends.
